The 2027 SSC exam dates changed after an earlier announcement. If you saw 7 January as the start date, that was the first plan, and it was replaced. This page gives the current schedule.

What changed
In May 2026, the Education Minister announced a tentative schedule with exams from 7 January to 6 February 2027. On 24 August 2026, after a meeting at the Ministry of Education, the exams were moved to start on 14 March 2027. The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee then published the new routine on the Dhaka Education Board website.
Practical exams and calculators
- Practical exams for all subjects must be completed by 22 April 2027, and the marks entered online.
- Practical exams begin at 10:00 am at the candidate’s own examination centre.
- Board-approved standard calculators are allowed.
