Status on 19 October 2026: Online applications for the National University masters (regular) program, session 2024-25, are open. They began on 14 October 2026 at 4:00 pm and close at midnight on 15 November 2026.

Who can apply
- Students who passed the four-year honours exam in the National University system between 2020 and 2024, with at least 45% marks (traditional system) or CGPA 2.25 (grading system).
- Students who passed the preliminary to masters (regular) or masters first part (regular) exam between 2020 and 2023 with at least 45% or GPA 2.25, and who also passed the related three-year degree (pass) regular exam with at least 45% or CGPA 2.25.
- The applicant must have studied and passed the subject concerned earlier.
Who cannot apply
- Students who earned a pass degree instead of the four-year honours degree.
- Students who passed preliminary to masters (private) or masters first part (private).
- Students who have already passed a masters (regular or private) exam, or are currently studying in another program. Dual admission cancels both admissions and registrations.
Fee
The preliminary application fee is Tk 1,000: Tk 850 for the university and Tk 150 for the college. Pay through the designated mobile banking service or directly at the college, by 16 November 2026.
How to apply
- Open the National University admission website, nu.ac.bd/admissions.
- Choose the Masters tab and select the regular masters application.
- Fill in the application form with your roll, registration and academic details.
- Select your college and subject, and submit the form.
- Pay the fee through mobile banking or at the college before the deadline, and make sure the college confirms your application online.
The fee must be paid and the application confirmed by the college. An application that is submitted but not paid or confirmed is not complete.

Can pass degree students apply?
No. Pass degree holders are not eligible under this notice.
